Description
Keep Your Hi-hat Cymbals Closed During Double-pedal Play
Hi-Hat Sound Adjustment
By turning the adjusting bolt (H) clockwise, the top cymbal moves upwards, widening the gap between the bottom cymbal. To resume normal hi-hat function, lock the clutch in place by pushing down on the footboard of the hi-hat stand.
When you want to drop into double-kick pedal mode on your bass drums but don't want that sloshy hi-hat reaction, the TAMA Sizzle Touch drop clutch is a must-have. This intelligently designed, easy-to-use clutch lets you instantly close your hats by tapping the clutch lever with your stick and pushing down on your hi-hat pedal to securely close the cymbals. Switching back to single-pedal play is just as easy: just press down on the hi-hat pedal until the clutch clicks back into standard "clutch" mode. The Sizzle Touch also lets players adjust the gap between the bottom and top cymbals while they are in "dropped" mode — get that tight "chick" or a wide-open thrash or a more subtle "sizzle"! Drummersuperstore's Team absolutely love the Sizzle Touch.
